The perfect blend of pampering and panoramic vistas is what sets Sugar Ridge apart. As much retreat as B&B, Sugar Ridge offers four seasons of peace and tranquility spread over 150 acres of majestic forests, rolling hills and lush meadows. Dogs run free, although the deer tend to stay away when the dogs are out!

We're so animal friendly that we're vegetarian! Wholesome vegetarian meals are served overlooking the stunning view of Georgian Bay and the Wye Marsh. You can explore trails throughout the property by hiking or skiing, or perhaps you would prefer to stretch your mind and body with a yoga class. Both Liz and Kurt Frost are yoga teachers and psychotherapists, offering yoga classes, day programs and weekend retreats for small groups. During the spring visit our fully operational sugar shack. In summer guests can relax by the pool and watch hawks circling overhead. Fall offers a spectacular autumn palette and winter provides a frosty beauty and wonderful skiing. Wildlife abounds year round and the bird watching is spectacular.

Our dogs, Henry and Rocky, will host furry friends. They've never met a dog they didn't like. Norman, the 17 year old feline patriarch rules the house. Although he's never met a dog he does like he seems to tolerate them all quite well.

We are located just 90 minutes north of Toronto. Minutes from Midland and all amenities, yet a world away when it comes to peace and quiet. The house is not visible from the road (safe distance from road for dogs to be loose) and the only noise you'll hear is natural: frogs and crickets, birds and coyotes, and Henry chasing deer.

We offer three tastefully appointed rooms in the house; one queen and one twin with shared guest bathroom; and a lovely suite with a queen bed and 2-pc ensuite. Alternatively you can have a private cabin in the woods.
