The Harbour Inne & Cottage in Mystic on the waterfront has a well appointed cottage that sleeps up to six, that is great for a couple on a romantic get-away or a family. Bedroom with a queen and full size beds plus a fireplace well stocked with firewood, a large living room with a sleep-sofa that opens into a queen bed, Glider doors opening onto a furnished deck with a six-person hot-tub jacuzzi. Cable colour TVs and A.C., kitchenette with stove, sink, fridge, microwave and dining area. New Corian sinks in the kitchen and bathroom. New pots, pans and dishes. Bathroom with new shower, lavatory and toilet, gas grills, picnic tables and waterfront gazebo for your use. However, there are more than forty restaurants of all cuisines close by so that you do not have to cook if you are so inclined. Many are within easy walking distance.
The six room Inne offers full & queen beds, cable colour TVs, A.C., shower, lavatory and toilet. Continental breakfast in the morning and a common social area where you can relax with your special other enjoying a glass of wine in front of our fireplace.
We are a waterfront property one block from the railroad station, five blocks from the center of town. We have our own dock and boats and a marina in our backyard. Launch your kayaks or canoe from here. Bring your running shoes or bicycles. We will direct you to scenic trails closeby.
We are one mile from the 19 acre Mystic Seaport Museum, two miles from the Mystic Marinelife Aquarium and Institute for Exploration, about 8 miles from the Mashantucket Pequot Indian Museum, Foxwoods Resort Casino, MGM Grand Casino, the Nautilus Submarine Museum and two local wineries with wine tastings.
Go fishing. Take a party boat or cruise the Mystic River on a coal fired steamboat with 30 and 90 minute cruises from mid-May to Columbus Day, local rowboat or sailboat rentals or classic power launch cruises, etc. Among the numerous monthly attractions are the Wooden Boat Show, the Lobster Festival, the Chowder Festival, the Outdoor Art Festival and the Taste of Mystic.
Please do not call us if you are looking for canopy beds, lace, silver candlesticks and affectatious behavior. We can not please everyone. Otherwise, please call us. We would like to meet you.
