May 31 Go For Guide Dogs. Andrew Haydon Park, Carling Avenue, Ottawa. 9:30AM-1:00PM. Free Admission. Booths available - $30 (booth registration deadline is May 22, 2009). Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind will celebrate its 25th Anniversary by presenting GO FOR GUIDE DOGS, a fundraising dog walk and dog social. Join us at Andrew Haydon Park on Carling Avenue in Ottawa on Sunday, May 31, 2009, the only day of the year that dogs are permitted at Andrew Haydon Park. Registration starts at 9:30am, and the 4-kilometre walk begins at 10:30am. The walk is followed by a dog social and barbecue. All participants receive a free goody bag with treats for you and your dog. You can also win some great door prizes, including bonus prizes for raising $100 or more in pledges.
