Toronto’s new brand identity was launched this past summer,
promoting all that Canada’s largest city has to offer as a
city and as Torontonians. The brand concept is a promise to
the world about the city of Toronto; the “City of
Imagination”.
The goal was to create a single Toronto brand and to develop
an innovative way of communicating the city’s strong and
dynamic identity to the rest of the world. This is part of a
larger unified effort to define and promote Toronto's
distinct identity and raise its profile as a major global
tourist and business destination.

Renaissance ROM is the dramatic transformation of the Royal
Ontario Museum (ROM) comprising over 300,000 sq. ft. of new
and renovated space, almost doubling the number of objects
that were previously on display. The Michael Lee-Chin
Crystal is a beautiful new building designed by renowned
architect Daniel Libeskind. With six new Crystal galleries
overlooking the street, the Crystal gives the ROM an
extraordinary new outline covered in a luminous skin of
aluminium and glass. The Crystal opens summer 2006 and the
final phase completes in winter 2006/07.
