each visitor and their pet, making sure they have everything they
need for a memorable stay. "Our staff love animals", comments Jean
Margison, who owns the Admiral along with her husband Alan. "They
carry treats in their pockets, learn each pet's name, and have a
great knowledge of nearby walking areas and parks." In addition to
helpful staff, the Admiral supplies pet guests with a number of
additional amenities including food/water bowls, leashes, bedding,
food and a portable kennel. Onsite contact information for groomers,
pet sitters and other local pet service providers round out a
pet program that ensures every guest has access to a royal
treatment.
As
an additional testament to the Admiral's welcoming approach towards
pets, the inn offers the full spectrum of accommodation options to
their pet-toting guests, including standard rooms, kitchen units and
suites. Pet-designated units are located on the ground floor for
added convenience, and all rooms have external entrances allowing
guests to come and go as they please. Pet owners who are accustomed
to being relegated to smoking units when they travel can also
rejoice in the fact that the Admiral Inn is an entirely non-smoking
establishment.
